Conrad asks South Africa for greater batting composure

The hosts prepare for the second Test after their Durban defeat.

South Africa coach Shukri Conrad called for better decision-making and application from his batters after Australia’s 214-run victory in Durban. He said selection changes remain an option and expressed hope for Kagiso Rabada’s return following a hamstring injury, without confirming an XI. The second Test starts on 18 October in Gqeberha, with Australia leading the three-match series 1–0.
