New Zealand have called up Matt Fisher after calf and quad injuries ruled Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry out of the remaining India T20Is. ICC reports that Ferguson needs at least a week to recover and Henry up to two weeks. New Zealand hope both will be available for the ODI series beginning 4 November. India lead the five-match T20I series 3–0; the remaining games are scheduled for Auckland on 30 October and Hamilton on 1 November.
