Nahida Akter appointed Bangladesh T20I captain

Bangladesh have appointed left-arm spinner Nahida Akter as women’s T20I captain, succeeding Nigar Sultana Joty, who stepped down to concentrate on batting. Sobhana Mostary will serve as vice-captain. ICC reports that the appointment is for at least a year, with the new leadership’s first assignment at the Women’s Emerging Trophy next month.
