Farhan sets three-match T20I series run record

His 238 runs surpassed Abhishek Sharma’s previous mark of 229.

The ICC reports that Sahibzada Farhan set the record for the most runs in a bilateral three-match men’s T20I series between two Full Members. Three consecutive half-centuries took the Pakistan captain to 238 runs against Sri Lanka, ahead of Abhishek Sharma’s 229 against Afghanistan earlier in 2026. Pakistan won the series 2–1 despite Sri Lanka’s eight-wicket victory in the final match on 13 October.
