Pakistan back Babar ahead of Sri Lanka final
Pakistan batting coach Mike Smith has backed Babar Azam despite the batter going four tri-series innings without a half-century. Babar has scored 118 runs in the competition and top-scored with 29 in Pakistan’s eight-wicket defeat to Sri Lanka on 27 October. Smith said the team remained confident in him as Pakistan prepare to meet Sri Lanka in the final on 31 October.
